the yamaha blaster is a oil injected bike, you put oil, Yamalube 2-s, in the tank under the seat You can also use an API SG/JASO MA 4-stroke motorcycle specific engine oil, but the trans specific oils will have a more robust additive package, so I would prefer to go with them.

I used to use castrol brand 2 stroke oil and it worked very well and was avalible at walmart and the auto parts store, I have switched to lucas semi synthetic 2 stroke oil, also availible at my auto parts store, it works great!! and its half the price of motul brand. '98 Yamaha Blaster Sport Bikes. lots of others will tell you klotz, yamalube, benol, as long as the engine is getting lubricated while getting fuel, you cant go wrong, as long as its mixed correctly. The manual says this is "transmission oil" but I know this does the lower end of the motor as well.
